Taking a Bite of the 'Action Sandwich': An Alan Frew Experience

Both Jennifer and I had the great opportunity of meeting Alan Frew through his wife Marcy, whom runs her own line of crouton products. Alan, for those of you unfamiliar with his work, is the lead singer of Glass Tiger, which was a famous band in the 80's. One of his most recent accomplishes, though, was composing the 2010 Winter Olympic anthem, "I Believe - Nikki (Extended Version)" for Canada.

Alan is an accomplished writer and through his book, "The Action Sandwich," he is able to communicate to the public six simple steps to success. As I have heard him say on many occasions, "success on your own terms."

He is also an inspirational speaker and we both had the chance to hear him live at a corporate speaking engagement.

Alan brought us on to put together an EPK to help promote his motivational speaking. While being present at the actual event, we were instantly wrapt into what he had to say. His humour along with an easy going personality really set the mood and tone of the evening. His down to earth approach made us feel more involved in his words of wisdom, eliminating any hint of lecturing.

As the cinematographers of the corporate event, we felt that Alan provided 'food for thought,' so to speak, because his ideas and steps stayed with us weeks after the actual event.
